Henry Ford did not only care about making profits. Ford also cared about the Americans that are no as fortunate as he is. So he constructed a hospital in Detroit that was for people that did not have a large income.This was because Detroit did not yet have a hospital and a person trying to become employed at his plant was diagnosed with pneumonia and tuberculous. So Ford decided to pay two million dollars to get the hospital started and agreed to pay any of the other cost of keeping the hospital running. That is why ford is compassionate to those less fortunate.
